18 months

Today Emilee is 18 months old. So crazy how fast she has grown. She is learning new things every day and surprises us so much. She is just a little princess and not a baby anymore. Emilee has become a better shopper- we went through a phase where I couldn't take her anywhere but now she sits nicely in the cart or walks right with me hand-in-hand. To celebrate her 18 months today- I took her to the mall and we got a caramel apple and while we were there the store was making fresh fudge so we watched him and Emilee kept saying "ooooo" so they man gave us a taste and she loved it! She just brings so much joy to our lives each and every day. xo






I have made it to 17 weeks with the baby! My dizziness has subsided and my energy is back! Can't wait for a few more weeks to see what we are having (hopefully the baby will cooperate)!

We have put the house plans on "hold" a this time. We are still looking and thinking about building but we have decided not to put our home on the market until Spring...yes, that means sleeping with a baby in our bedroom for several months (not really looking forward to this, as Emilee only slept in our room with her bassinet for 1 month). It was nice to get her into her own crib. It will be an adjustment but at least we will get what we want (hopefully)!

Good news...no, GREAT news..Marc was promoted at work! He now is a Supervisor at work. More responsibility but he can do it! So proud of him! He truly deserves it. xo
